DANAHER ANIMAL HOME
SUPPORT THE DANAHER ANIMAL HOME
Every year we take in hundreds of lost, abandoned or ill treated animals, none of which would be possible without your support. Whilst affiliated to the RSPCA, the Danaher Animal Home is an independent registered charity and is entirely responsible for raising its own funds. There are many ways you can help our animals be cared for and rehomed:
By standing order (download the standing order form here) and we will complete our details and send them off to you bank.
One off Donations
Either make a donation online by using the secure Everyclick site (click here) or send us a cheque made payable to RSPCA Danaher Animal Home and send it to the address below.
If you pay tax and are happy for us to claim Gift Aid (at no cost to you) you can do this on your Everyclick payment or, if paying by cheque, by filling out a Gift Aid Form (click here) and returning it with your cheque.
Payroll Giving
Providing your employee offers Payroll Giving you may donate monthly to Danaher from your Gross Salary (you do not pay tax on the income you donate). Your payroll or HR departments can provide a form for you to do this. Please ensure that you state that the bequest be made to The RSPCA Danaher Animal Home (Charity No 1112369) to avoid us being confused with the central RSPCA.
Leave us a Legacy in your will – remember us in your Will by means of a bequest -
Sponsor a Dog Kennel, Cat Cabin, Rabbit Run or the Compound
It costs £200 to sponsor a kennel or cat cabin for 1 year, £60 for a Rabbit Run or £60 to part sponsor the Compound which is used to exercise dogs and let them meet other dogs in the family of prospective adopters. We will attach a plaque to the area sponsored with your choice of wording.
Corporate Support
Please contact us if you feel your company may be willing to support us. We will get in touch with them and offer incentives including publicity at Danaher, in our shops and at our fundraising events including our Fun Day which around 4,000 people attend.
Support us by “Challenging Yourself”
Take part in a sponsorship event or an individual challenge and donate the funds raised to us. You may use Everyclick to do this and/or use sponsorship forms. We will be pleased to help and support you. Follow this link to see how two girls from Canvey Island did a sponsored walk on our behalf.
Go Internet Shopping with Easyfundraising
Sign in, selecting Danaher as your chosen charity, and select from over 2,000 internet retailers including Amazon, M & S, John Lewis, Staples, Argos, Comet and plenty of pet food suppliers. We normally receive between 2.5% and 5% of your purchase at no cost to you or us. Please use the site every time you shop.
Go Internet searching with Everyclick – give as you live
Sign in and select Danaher as your charity. The search engine is powered by Yahoo. A small amount will be donated to us for every search made. If you do not want your name displayed on the Everyclick site you can log in as “Anonymous”. Let us know if you have any questions or problems.

The RSPCA Danaher Animal Home will be amongst the first charities in the country to use its own unique, personalised text code, DANA00, to raise funds using JustTextGiving by Vodaphone.
This is a brand new, free service for charities, no network charges for people making donations and every penny donated goes to charity. Gift Aid can also be added.
Supporters of Danaher can make donations of up to £10 by texting DANA00 and either 1,2,3,4,5 or 10 to 70070 to make their donation. The text message is free and all of the donation will be passed to Danaher.
This is a wonderful way for us to raise money as it’s speedy, simple and spontaneous. Most people have a mobile phone these days so we expect this to be very popular with our supporters.
